About Sami Ngo

Hey I'm Sami.

I've been a practicing PA (primary and urgent care) for 10 years.

But in 2021, I suffered pandemic burnout and I made a huge change.

I quit my full-time PA job and moved my family from Las Vegas, Nevada to Phuket, Thailand.

At 35 years old, I took the unconventional route and reinvented myself.

I'm on a mission to build a community of like-minded med geeks who share a common goal: live life without rules, without fear and without financial burden.

"If you're there on time you're 15 minutes late"

Sami Ngo is a Certified Physician Assistant raised in Las Vegas by first generation Chinese immigrant parents. She graduated in 2012 with a Master’s of Physician Assistant from Quinnipiac University.

After spending several years working in outpatient internal medicine in Connecticut and family medicine in San Francisco, she is now back home in Las Vegas working in urgent care. She hates the heat but loves being close to her family. She enjoys the flexibility and unpredictability of urgent care but her true passion is preventive medicine and primary care.

Sam met her husband in a hostel in Cartagena, Colombia 8 years ago and since then they have travelled to over 30 different countries. They are currently raising their two little boys to be trilingual and multicultural (American, Australian, Chinese and Russian).

Sam's true passion in life is to empower others to rise above their circumstances, dream big, and change the world.
